Clera→
Founding GTM at Clera in San Francisco
Job Description
About the Role
This is the first dedicated go-to-market hire at an early-stage B2B SaaS company building AI-powered software for industrial distributors and manufacturers. You'll work directly with the CEO to turn founder-led sales into a repeatable, scalable GTM motion — starting as a hands-on doer and growing into the architect of the entire GTM organization.
What You'll Do
Partner with the CEO to design and execute the company's end-to-end go-to-market strategy.
Personally generate pipeline through cold calls, targeted email campaigns, trade shows, and new channel experimentation to reach industrial executives.
Identify what messaging, channels, and processes actually work — then codify them into a playbook for future GTM hires.
Build AI-powered systems across the GTM stack, including account research, personalization, campaign execution, and sales intelligence.
Join customer calls, develop deep market understanding, and translate insights into acquisition strategy.
Convert repeatable processes into scalable infrastructure and documentation.
What We're Looking For
Proven track record generating outbound pipeline through cold calls, email campaigns, trade shows, and events — this is a dealbreaker requirement.
Demonstrated ability to build and systematize GTM motions and repeatable sales processes from scratch.
Hands-on experience building AI automations, scripts, or applications to drive sales productivity.
Proficiency writing targeted outbound messaging that converts prospects in complex B2B environments.
Experience working with or selling to C-suite stakeholders in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution sectors.
High agency — you've started companies, launched products, or built things from zero without waiting for direction.
Technical and AI-native mindset; background in engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science is a strong plus.
Familiarity with ERP systems, industrial software integrations, or legacy system deployments is a bonus.
US citizenship required; no visa sponsorship available.
1–4 years of relevant experience, ideally at an early-stage startup.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $100,000 – $170,000 USD annually. No visa sponsorship available.
Location
On-site in San Francisco, California. Remote work is not available for this role.
