Commercial QAQC Technician at CLEAResult in Texas

Summary: CLEAResult is dedicated to leading the transition to a sustainable and carbon-neutral energy-efficient future. They are seeking a Commercial QA/QC Technician who will be responsible for conducting energy efficiency HVAC Maintenance Tune-Ups and technical inspections for commercial customers across a defined territory. Responsibilities: - Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits of commercial energy efficiency upgrades to HVAC systems, lighting systems, and other mechanical installations - Perform pre- and post-installation inspections to verify proper implementation and performance of energy-saving measures - Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to perform inspections, with frequent overnight travel - Evaluate HVAC Tune-Ups and other system upgrades for compliance, performance, and safety - Inspect lighting systems and other mechanical components with a focus on technical aptitude and safety standards - Provide detailed feedback and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness - Operate and manipulate mechanical HVAC equipment to enable functional testing with technical equipment - Accurately take airflow measurements on HVAC systems Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED required - 1-3 years of HVAC or equivalent mechanical experience, with familiarity in lighting systems, controls, and energy efficiency technologies - Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to assess a variety of systems - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other software platforms - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols - Ability to work in all climates and commercial environments - Ability to safely use and climb extension ladders up to 24' - Sit, stand, walk, crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently - Use repetitive hand motion and lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds regularly - Are at least 21 years of age - Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: - Relevant technical certification/training - EPA Type-Universal certification Required Skills: HVAC Maintenance Tune-Ups, Pre- and post-installation inspections, Energy efficiency upgrades, Lighting systems, Mechanical installations, Mechanical aptitude, EPA Type-Universal certification, Microsoft Office Suite, Airflow measurements, Commitment to safety protocols Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; we also offer a company-paid health care concierge service to help navigate our health plan to make the best decisions for you and yours, 401(k) with company match, Paid vacation, sick, personal and parental leave time, Paid Volunteer Time: giving back to our communities is important to us, Employee Recognition Program – convert your recognition points into gift cards, Employee Assistance Program – offers benefits to help you manage daily responsibilities, Access to on-demand training courses to advance further in your career, Company vehicle is provided
