Job Description
Summary: CLEAResult is dedicated to leading the transition to a sustainable and carbon-neutral energy-efficient future. They are seeking a Commercial QA/QC Technician who will be responsible for conducting energy efficiency HVAC Maintenance Tune-Ups and technical inspections for commercial customers across a defined territory.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits of commercial energy efficiency upgrades to HVAC systems, lighting systems, and other mechanical installations
- Perform pre- and post-installation inspections to verify proper implementation and performance of energy-saving measures
- Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to perform inspections, with frequent overnight travel
- Evaluate HVAC Tune-Ups and other system upgrades for compliance, performance, and safety
- Inspect lighting systems and other mechanical components with a focus on technical aptitude and safety standards
- Provide detailed feedback and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness
- Operate and manipulate mechanical HVAC equipment to enable functional testing with technical equipment
- Accurately take airflow measurements on HVAC systems
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of HVAC or equivalent mechanical experience, with familiarity in lighting systems, controls, and energy efficiency technologies
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to assess a variety of systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other software platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work in all climates and commercial environments
- Ability to safely use and climb extension ladders up to 24'
- Sit, stand, walk, crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently
- Use repetitive hand motion and lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds regularly
- Are at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant technical certification/training
- EPA Type-Universal certification
