Senior Loan Writer — Australian Mortgage… at Clarita… · Chandigarh

About the Role

Clarita Accountability Professionals LLP is hiring a Senior Loan Writer on behalf of a well-established Sydney-based mortgage broking business with a strong settled-loan track record and an excellent client reputation across residential and investment lending.

You will own the loan process end-to-end — from the first client call through structuring, submission, credit liaison and settlement — working closely with lenders' BDMs and credit assessors to keep every file moving.

This is a senior, client-facing role suited to someone who can work autonomously, exercise sound lending judgement, and represent the brokerage professionally to clients, lenders and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct the initial client discovery call — understanding needs, goals, income and financial position

Assess borrowing capacity and recommend appropriate loan structures, including complex and investment lending scenarios

Prepare and structure loan applications suited to each client's circumstances

Compile and lodge complete, accurate and compliant loan submissions with lenders

Liaise directly with credit assessors to resolve queries and keep files progressing without delay

Manage relationships with lenders' Business Development Managers (BDMs) to escalate issues and expedite outcomes

Track each file from submission through to unconditional approval and settlement

Keep clients and the broker informed with clear, timely updates at every stage

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM/aggregator platform

Ensure all work meets NCCP and responsible lending compliance requirements

Identify opportunities to refer clients to additional services where appropriate

Qualification

CA Inter / M.Com / B.Com

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years' experience in Australian mortgage broking, in a loan writer, para-broker or client-facing lending role

Solid working knowledge of Australian residential lending policy across major and non-major lenders

Demonstrated experience handling the full loan lifecycle: structuring, submission, credit liaison and settlement

Confident, professional verbal and written English — comfortable speaking directly with Australian clients, credit assessors and BDMs by phone

Strong attention to detail and understanding of NCCP / responsible lending obligations

Proficiency with aggregator and CRM platforms (e.g. Mercury, ApplyOnline, Salestrekker or similar)

Able to work core Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT)

Highly organised, able to manage a pipeline of files independently and prioritise under deadline pressure

Preferred

Background in banking, credit assessment or broader finance prior to broking

Experience with complex, investor or self-employed lending scenarios

Prior experience in an offshore team supporting an Australian brokerage

Why Apply

Direct ownership of files rather than back-office data entry

Daily client and lender contact with an established Australian brokerage

Day-shift hours with evenings free

Stable, long-term engagement through Clarita

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
