Intern Location: India Remote At Clario, a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are transforming clinical research through innovative technology and data-driven solutions. We are seeking a motivated Intern – Cloud Infrastructure Documentation (AI Integrations) to support the documentation of cloud-based systems used to integrate AI/ML models that improve image quality control and image read efficiency across imaging platforms. This internship focuses on translating complex technical implementations into clear, structured, and reusable documentation that supports engineering, QA, and business stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing Document end-to-end cloud architecture supporting AI/ML model integrations, including system components, data flows, and integration points. Produce clear, structured documentation covering: AI model inputs and outputs Image QC checkpoints and validation steps Image read efficiency optimization mechanisms Partner with engineers, data scientists, and Image QC teams to understand: AI model performance metrics and evaluation criteria Monitoring, logging, and error-handling strategies Develop and maintain: Architecture diagrams and system overviews Process flows and operational workflows API and interface documentation Standardize documentation templates and formats to support repeatable use across future AI model integrations. Ensure all documentation aligns with internal compliance, governance, and engineering best practices. What We Look For Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Foundational understanding of: AI/ML concepts, including models, inference, and the difference between training and inference Data pipelines and distributed system architecture Strong technical writing and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise language. Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, Markdown, Microsoft Word, or Google Docs. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to API documentation (e.g., REST APIs, JSON schemas). Experience creating technical diagrams or architecture visuals. Interest in applied AI, platform engineering, or enterprise AI governance. Learning Outcomes Hands-on exposure to production AI and cloud-based integration frameworks. Understanding of how AI models are integrated, validated, and monitored at scale. Experience documenting systems that directly impact real-world quality and operational efficiency. Mentorship and collaboration with professionals across AI, platform engineering, and QA teams.
