ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Salesloft are building the next era of enterprise revenue — one where teams make confident decisions powered by AI and real signals. By combining our scale, insights, and AI innovation, we’re building the industry’s first Predictive Revenue System, enabling humans and AI to work together to make smarter decisions and drive consistent growth.

With thousands of customers using our platforms every day, we have an unmatched view into how revenue is actually won — the Revenue Context that reveals what happens, when, and with what outcome. This gives us a unique opportunity to transform an entire category and set a new benchmark for how modern revenue teams operate.

Join us to help transform how companies around the world run revenue — and build the platform that will guide leading revenue teams into the future.

THE OPPORTUNITY

At Salesloft, our Senior Security Engineers protect the platform and the sensitive revenue data thousands of enterprises entrust to us. You will own significant areas of our security posture — hardening our cloud infrastructure, driving detection and response, and building the controls that keep customer data safe at scale.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership security role. You will secure a modern, cloud-native platform end to end — threat modeling new systems, hardening infrastructure, responding to incidents, and partnering with engineering to build security in rather than bolt it on. As our AI footprint grows, you will help define how we secure AI-driven systems and the data behind them.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Own and improve significant areas of the platform's security posture across cloud infrastructure, applications, and data.

• Threat-model new systems and features, partnering with engineering to build in security from the start.

• Drive detection, investigation, and response for security events, and strengthen controls based on what you learn.

• Harden cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and drive secure configuration through infrastructure- and policy-as-code.

• Assess and help secure AI/ML systems and the sensitive data that flows through them.
• Partner across engineering and IT to remediate vulnerabilities and raise the security bar company-wide.

This role lives at the heart of how we are Customer Inspired — where every decision has a true north, and it's our customer: the systems you secure are what let customers put their most sensitive revenue data on our platform with confidence. And in the spirit of how we Make Your Mark, you'll build durable controls and fix root causes rather than chasing the same vulnerabilities repeatedly.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced security engineer who can own real areas of a cloud-native platform's security and work hands-on across infrastructure, detection, and response. You think like an attacker and build like an engineer.

You embody what we call Evidence Over Ego — you prioritize based on real risk and threat data, verify that controls actually work, and are candid about where the gaps are. You think in systems and build for durability.

This is the right role if you want to protect a platform at the center of enterprise revenue.

THE TEAM

The Salesloft Security organization protects the platform, the company, and the sensitive revenue data our customers entrust to us. The team blends deep security expertise with strong engineering, working closely with Platform Engineering, IT, and Infrastructure.

The team Moves as One — security, engineering, and infrastructure share ownership of the company's security posture and coordinate directly. And we are relentlessly Customer Inspired: our customers' success is the only scorecard that matters, and everything the team does exists to justify the confidence customers place in us with their most sensitive data.

THE SKILL SET

• Strong experience in security engineering, ideally securing modern cloud-native platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with cloud security (AWS or GCP), including infrastructure hardening and secure configuration.
• Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, and detection and incident response.
• Proficiency in a scripting or programming language used to build security tooling and automation.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with engineering to build security in.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code for security enforcement.
• Exposure to securing AI/ML systems, data pipelines, or LLM-powered features.
• Experience with application security and secure SDLC practices.

At Salesloft, we are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace where everyone belongs and can thrive. We focus on culture add, not culture fit, and believe our teams are made stronger by the unique perspectives, experiences, and identities each person brings.

We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and provide employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected by law.

If you’re excited about this role even though your experience may not perfectly match every requirement, we encourage you to apply. We are actively hiring across multiple geographies and would love to welcome passionate, curious, and mission-driven individuals to our growing team. Explore our open roles and consider joining us!
