MANAGED SERVICES ENTERPRISE TECHNICIAN
Full-time Regular · Location: Bridgeport, WV, US / Morgantown, WV, US
Position Title: Managed Services Enterprise Technician
Role Overview:
As a Managed Services Enterprise Technician, you'll be instrumental in implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting cutting-edge enterprise solutions for our clients. Operating in a dynamic environment, you'll ensure seamless service delivery through agile methodologies and meticulous attention to detail. From in-house customer system setup to on-site support, your expertise will drive client satisfaction and operational excellence. The Technician will provide these services in a per-hour billing or flat rate monthly setting and will track all time, in either case, for proper billing and cost accounting. Your responsibilities will encompass managing and supporting a variety of common devices and items, including (but not limited to):
• Workstations
• Peripherals (i.e. – printers, scanners, etc)
• Windows servers
• Microsoft 365
• Citynet’s security software stack
• Customer data backups
• Wire/Cable Management
• Cybersecurity Best Practices and Implementations
Additionally, you'll collaborate with leading vendors such as Microsoft, Barracuda, VMware, and others to leverage their technologies and deliver state-of-the-art solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate client systems for optimization and upgrades.
• Perform in-house, on-site and remote computer and network services.
• Service PCs and servers.
• Install and test various network devices.
• Install and support software and peripherals.
• Install and maintain Citynet’s RMM services.
• Respond to customer device alerts.
• Document customer systems.
• Work with internal teams on customer services audits.
• Collaborate with engineers to stage and deploy equipment, ensuring seamless integration.
• Execute and validate backup procedures to maintain data integrity.
• Document system configurations and setups with clarity and precision.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• CompTIA/Microsoft certifications a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT/Managed Services technician or equivalent work experience.
Work Environment:

• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely support and resolution for critical issues outside of regular business hours.

• Profound understanding of modern IP infrastructure elements, including network security, cloud-based computing, and enterprise design principles.
