This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a busy and high-performing administration team within Planning Services. You’ll play a key role in supporting development outcomes for the community by ensuring efficient, accurate and customer-focused administrative services.
You’ll drive process improvement, lead people, and influence service delivery across the Development Services Business Unit—making a real impact on how planning services are experienced by customers and stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead planning administration team and daily operations
Supervise, coach and develop administrative staff
Drive high-quality customer service delivery standards
Coordinate correspondence, meetings and reporting outputs
Monitor team performance, KPIs and service outcomes
Manage administrative processes and system improvements
Support financial processes, purchasing and asset tracking
Collaborate across teams to support planning outcomes

qualifications
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for an experienced leader with strong administrative and customer service expertise. You’ll bring:
Experience leading administrative or business support teams
Strong organisational and workload management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
High-level customer service and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion
Strong problem-solving and sound decision-making skills
Experience with financial processes and reporting support
Understanding of local government or planning processes
