Salary:
Strategic Planning Officer $100,358.86 - $105,642.01 + super (level 7 - Inside Workfprce Agreement)
Senior Strategic Planning Officer $111,011.86 – $116,853.70 + super (Level 8 – Inside Workforce Agreement)

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Planning Officer for a 12‑month contract covering parental leave. This opportunity places you at the centre of complex and high‑profile strategic planning work. You’ll lead planning projects that influence long‑term land use outcomes, contribute to planning instruments and strategies, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders. Manage consultants and project delivery
Engage stakeholders and respond to submissions

We’re seeking an experienced strategic planner with strong local government capability. You’ll ideally bring:
Tertiary qualification in urban or regional planning
Demonstrated strategic planning experience
Strong WA statutory planning knowledge
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
High‑level written and verbal communication
Confidence negotiating complex planning matters
Experience delivering planning projects
