Responsibilities: - Review rejects from both incoming quality inspection and production floor - Investigate critical quality issues, create problem statements and communicate to the cross-functional team - Manage and coordinate the containment activities (sorting/rework) to minimize the impact on production operations due to quality issues - Support problem solving and continuous improvement projects - Coordinate the disposition of Process Change Notifications and Deviations - This position will greatly help manage and disposition Process Change Notifications and Deviations - It is a critical role and the catalyst to gathering cross functional teams together to resolve issues - It is a time sensitive role to mitigate the production downtime risk due to quality issues - It will greatly improve the morale of team via reducing the overload of work from others in this role Required Qualifications: - 0-2 years in the manufacturing industry - Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree - Data collection analysis - Problem solving and critical thinking - Blueprint reading - Gages and measurements - MS Office Software (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint) - Knowledge of internal combustion engines - ASQ CQE certification - Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree is overqualified Required Skills: Data collection analysis, Blueprint reading Important Skills: Gages, measurements, MS Office Software, Internal combustion engines Nice-to-Have Skills: ASQ CQE certification Benefits: We are pleased to offer visa sponsorship for eligible and qualified individuals., 10 paid holidays per year, 2 weeks of paid time off per year, the current year is pro-rated based on start date, Access to the company’s medical insurance, including dental and vision, Eligibility for life insurance and disability coverage for short or long-term disabilities or long-term care needs, 401 (k) eligibility with employer contribution annually, Reimbursement for relocation expenses up to a certain amount on a case-by-case basis, Yearly bonus based on company performance, Visa sponsorship
