Responsibilities: - Produce software that delivers requested functionality by following the unified software development process - Deliver quality software by possessing a working knowledge of modern modular programming techniques for implementation of customer needs - Perform software testing, corrects program errors, using methods such as modifying program or altering sequence of program steps - Analyze, design, implement, and maintain moderately complex systems programming - Work with other team to develop Technical Designs and participate in Technical and Code Reviews - Work with team to design, write, and prepare complete user and technical documentation - Utilize development lifecycle process and documentation to implement and support system solutions - Prepare detailed use cases and activity diagrams to illustrate the customer needs - Collaborate with customers to obtain and analyze project specifications - Propose a viable overall design approach by analyzing the possible courses of action and associated impacts - Ensure outstanding end-user support is provided, including ongoing monitoring of Service Level Agreements for incident management and collaboration with other areas to ensure customer-centered incident management and support - Develop knowledge and professional skills through cross-training, literature and attendance at department meetings and vendor education - Develop training objectives - Prepare oral and written presentations - Develop expertise in several Cincinnati Children's computer-based systems Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience - No experience required Required Skills: 2D, 3D modeling, Software development Important Skills: User support
