They are seeking a Business Development Specialist to identify, plan, and execute business performance initiatives, develop programs for healthcare partners, and conduct research to support business development objectives. Responsibilities: - Identify, plan, and deliver on a consistent basis sales and business performance through recommending areas or approaches for improvement activities, performing new procedures, collecting data and providing input to department assessment discussions - Drive the planning, coordination, and execution of events/conferences/symposiums that work to further collaborations with outside organizations and institutions - Travel both domestically and internationally to provide on-site support to ensure successful execution of events - Develop and maintain effective services and support programs for an array of international and domestic healthcare providers, universities, governmental agencies, research organizations and healthcare related industry partners - Plan and perform necessary research and provide analysis with recommendations to support the development of strategies, tactics, and feasibility related to services or support programs that drive business development objectives - Develop intelligence that monitors and alerts CCHMC to industry shifts and opportunities with competitors as well as prospective or existing partners - Develop appropriate documentation and packaging of services offered as part of CCHMC relationships to support and positively influence client decision makers to choose CCHMC as a preferred partner Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field - 0+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
