Summary: CIBC US is building a relationship-oriented bank and is seeking a recent MBA graduate to join their Core Growth Team as an Associate Equity Analyst. This role involves mastering the Seven Step Investment Process for U.S. Core and Growth equities, conducting research, financial modeling, and engaging with clients. Responsibilities: - Mastery of Investment Process - Learn and adapt the CIBC Core Growth team’s Seven Step Investment Process - Stock Coverage - Launch coverage of stocks one at a time using a specific initiation report, in a team setting with real time debate, follow-up, and likely further research - Ongoing Research and Industry Engagement - Perform ongoing research and analyze market data, industry trends, filings, and all other necessary information to support or detract from your original investment thesis. Attend sell side broker conferences and industry bus tours.
