Summary: CIBC US is building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world, seeking talented professionals dedicated to client success. The Analyst or Associate will gain experience in Equity and Equity-Linked underwriting and advisory business, working on various transactions and providing analytical support to senior professionals. Responsibilities: - Drafting client presentations - Completing internal presentations - Tracking the equity and corporate derivative markets - Providing analytical, structuring, research and transaction due diligence support to senior professionals on the Equity Solutions team - Partnering closely with colleagues across divisions including Corporate and Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Risk Management Required Qualifications: - Knowledge of business, economics and/or finance acquired through education and experience - Strong interest in and knowledge of financial markets and an understanding of Equities, Equity-Linked securities and Derivatives - Strong preference for candidates with Equity and Equity-Linked experience and an understanding of Corporate Equity Derivative-related concepts - Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements - An understanding of credit analysis and accounting principles - Detail-oriented and able to think logically - Excellent writing and presentation skills with the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly - Proven ability to contribute to high performance teams - Willing to work extended hours in a high pressure/high reward environment - Able to take initiative on and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Values matter to you.
