1. Leads a team of 3 to 5 members to provide valuation and modeling support

2. Maintains Prophet model for valuation and business plan processes. Works with Corporate Actuarial for updates to centralized Prophet model.

3. Design process and build tools for in-depth analysis of valuation and forecast results.

4. Review end to end valuation process to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation or error correction.

5. Collaborate across Actuarial, Finance, IT and other teams

Qualifications

Experience:

• Over 12 years of actuarial experience in the life insurance industry.
• Proficient in valuation and Prophet modeling.
• Hands-on experience with valuation data processing (ETL) and validation checks.
• Proven experience in team management.

Education:

• Strong background in science, engineering, or related fields preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

Language:

• Proficient in English (listening, speaking, and writing).

Skillset:

• Expert-level proficiency in Prophet modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS17, AA, ICS, and other reporting standards.
• Strong programming and coding skills.
• Familiarity with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
• Proficient in data processing tools (ETL, Access, SQL, etc.).
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office software.
• Strong project and team management capabilities.
• Excellent cross-departmental collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong communication abilities with exceptional presentation skills.

Certification:

• ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) or higher.
