In this role, you’ll lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, working directly with clients while supervising and developing more junior members of the team.

We’re working with an established accountancy practice in Swindon that is looking for an experienced Auditor to join its growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has developed solid audit experience and is now looking for more ownership of assignments, greater client exposure and a clear route to progress further within practice.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading audit assignments from initial planning through to completion
• Completing and reviewing audit fieldwork and working papers
• Working with a varied portfolio of clients across different industries
• Supervising and delegating work to trainees and Semi Seniors
• Reviewing junior team members’ work and providing constructive feedback
• Liaising directly with clients throughout assignments
• Identifying and resolving audit issues
• Managing deadlines and keeping assignments progressing efficiently
• Working closely with Managers and Partners on more complex engagements

We’re keen to hear from candidates with solid audit experience within a UK accountancy practice. ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified candidates would be particularly relevant, although the firm can consider different backgrounds depending on experience.
