Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Facilities Engineer – Greenfield Projects through May 25, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (MST).
The position will be responsible for applying standard designs to site specific projects associated with adding new wells to the shale and tight portfolio. Role involves leading the development of all detailed engineering deliverables (PFD’s, P&ID’s, C&E’s, alignment sheets, etc.), managing budgets, forecasting, developing cost estimates, bid packages, ordering long lead equipment, managing project execution, commissioning, start-up support and troubleshooting. Role also coordinates with Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with requirements from Colorado ECMC, CDPHE, BLM, etc.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Ensure safe and reliable operations related to process safety and personal safety
Apply standard designs and company standards to site specific projects
Lead development of engineering deliverables
Develop bid packages
Identify and order long lead material
Manage business partners in delivering projects on time and within budget
Collaborate with other team members to enable seamless project execution
Troubleshoot commissioning and start-up issues in the field with operations
Support construction work planning and execution, including kick-off, construction walkdowns and increased availability during critical activities such as pressure testing, PSSR, purge, etc.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5+ years total experience in Facilities Engineering or Project Management with majority of experience in onshore shale and tight assets in Colorado.
Field time >20% is anticipated: most locations are within a 1hr drive from the Greeley office. Must be able to operate a company vehicle.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $137,600 – $237,800.
