They are seeking a Meat Clerk to provide friendly customer service, assist with meat display and preparation, and maintain cleanliness in the department. Responsibilities: - Provide excellent Customer Service - Assist the customers, clean shelves, and display cases - Clean, fill, and rotate the Meat Wrap displays - Work with customers to take special orders - Work with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut Required Qualifications: - Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos - Write simple correspondence - Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization - Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions - Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds - Must be able to lift 50 lbs., Bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods - Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food Preferred Qualifications: - Basic PC/Outlook skills - Retail Management Certificate Required Skills: Food Handler Card, Basic PC skills, Microsoft Outlook Benefits: 401(k) Retirement Benefit, Continuing Education Benefits, And Much More!
