Job Description
Summary: Chase is a longstanding financial institution that provides innovative financial solutions globally. They are seeking an experienced Analyst to join their Investment Grade Private Credit team, where the role involves driving processes related to deal executions and client interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor global rate and credit market dynamics and how they affect our clients’ debt portfolios and funding decisions
- Analyze market data, investment grade deal flow and thematic events to provide information to internal teams and external clients
- Prepare client pitches that address capital needs
- Participate in the structuring and marketing of 4(a)(2) private placement executions
- Coordinate with investment banking coverage, interest rate/FX risk management to provide clients with holistic corporate finance and capital structure solutions
- Develop industry specific knowledge of the client base and awareness of key decision makers (i.e. CFOs, Treasurers, Capital Markets Directors)
- Maintain direct dialogue with client coverage officers and debt and equity partners
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills
- Familiarity with the banking regulatory landscape and key trends
- Impeccable communication skills with ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other lines of business
- Comfortable working in a high pressure environment, possessing superior organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task across various deliverables
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Investment banking experience or the equivalent, including ‘Big 4' Professional Services Firms (e.g. Ernst & Young, PwC) within Transaction/Tax Advisory and Diligence; Financial Services Advisory; or Audit Services
- SIE, Series 7, Series 79 and Series 63 qualifications
