Summary: Charles River Associates is a leading global consulting firm that provides economic, financial, and business management expertise. The Analyst will support the Labor and Employment Practice by conducting data analysis, performing labor market research, and assisting in project teams to provide insights on employment processes and litigation disputes. Responsibilities: - Program, build models, and perform regression and data analysis in statistical analysis programs (either Stata, SAS, or R) - Review, process, and construct datasets that serve as inputs to these analyses, including company time-keeping, applicant tracking, performance, and HRIS data - Perform labor market research to develop an independent fact base - Review and summarize client documents and third-party research to identify key information - Participate in analysis design, report preparation, and the presentation of findings - Ensure reliability of analysis through quality control review; and - Participate in practice development activities (training, recruiting, knowledge management) Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree candidates graduating in Summer 2026 with an academic focus on quantitative research (Economics, Business, Finance, Financial Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field) - Completion of an honors thesis, research apprenticeship, or research seminar program is highly desired - Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to explain, economic, financial and/or accounting concepts, and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods - Experience programming in statistical analysis programs, particularly Stata, SAS, SQL, R or Python - Command of a broad range of research and quantitative analysis skills (including strong Excel skills) - Curious and analytic thinkers who bring creative approaches to non-standard problems - Effective written and oral communication skills - Demonstrated high level of initiative and leadership - Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities - Excellent time management and task prioritization skills Required Skills: Statistical analysis, Programming in Stata, Quantitative analysis Important Skills: SQL, Python, Excel Nice-to-Have Skills: Leadership initiative, Analytic thinking, Effective communication, Team collaboration, Time management Benefits: We offer ... in-house immigration support for foreign nationals and international business travelers., Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, Life and disability insurance, Paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays), Paid parental leave, Wellness programs and employee assistance resources, Commuter benefits
