Job Summary**

Responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing through rigorous testing of salary data and systems within Challenge Mfg. Company, LLC.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for salary calculations, deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings. * Perform manual and automated testing of payroll systems, software updates, and new functionalities. * Identify, document, and track defects and issues related to salary processing, working with IT and HR to resolve them. * Verify compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and company policies. * Conduct regression testing to ensure that changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities. * Analyze payroll data discrepancies and perform root cause analysis. * Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT departments to understand payroll requirements and system changes. * Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, results, and issues. * Assist in the development and improvement of payroll testing methodologies and best practices.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field. * 2+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, or quality assurance with a focus on payroll systems. * Strong understanding of payroll processes, calculations, and tax regulations. * Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) and HRIS systems. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and manipulation. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
