Who we want:

Oversee and lead all production activities and personnel on the 2nd shift, ensuring efficient operations, quality standards, and a safe work environment within Challenge Mfg. Company, LLC.

What You'll Do:

• * Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production employees on the 2nd shift.
• * Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to schedules, quality specifications, and company policies.

• * Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap.

• * Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and attendance.
• * Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce all safety regulations and procedures.
• * Collaborate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality, logistics) to optimize production flow.
• * Perform performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to direct reports.
• * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• * Ensure proper setup and operation of machinery and equipment.

* Report daily production metrics and issues to management.

Job Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. * 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. * Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, lean manufacturing, and quality control. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to troubleshoot production problems and make informed decisions under pressure. * Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting. * Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule reliably. * Proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
