Summary: Chalaran is an early-stage premium beauty brand focused on overnight skincare for modern urban life. They are seeking a Content Design Intern to support the creation of visual content that balances premium brand mood with conversion-focused communication. Responsibilities: - Editing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social formats - Creating product-focused video edits using existing footage, images, and brand assets - Adding captions, pacing, transitions, text overlays, music, and simple motion where appropriate - Creating static posts, story assets, reel covers, thumbnails, and campaign visuals - Designing website banners and visual sections that support product storytelling and conversion - Adapting founder or brand direction into social-ready and web-ready content - Translating product benefits into clear, premium visual communication - Creating variations of content for testing different hooks, layouts, messages, or formats - Resizing and adapting content across Instagram, TikTok, website, and other digital touchpoints - Researching beauty, skincare, lifestyle, and premium brand references - Organizing video clips, product images, visual references, and brand assets Required Qualifications: - Currently studying or recently completed studies in design, video editing, visual communication, digital media, content creation, branding, marketing, or a related field - Strong eye for visual mood, layout, pacing, typography, composition, and storytelling - Comfortable creating or editing short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms - Able to understand both brand aesthetics and simple conversion goals - Interest in beauty, skincare, lifestyle, premium branding, digital content, or startups - Comfortable working independently in a remote setting - Able to take direction, work efficiently, and communicate clearly - Comfortable using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Figma, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, or any other editing/design tools you prefer - Portfolio, video edits, social content samples, website/banner visuals, or other creative projects to share Required Skills: Video editing, Short-form video creation, Instagram Reels, TikTok, CapCut, Canva, Figma, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, Visual communication, Content creation, Branding, Marketing, Typography, Layout design, Composition, take direction Benefits: Academic credit may be supported where applicable and where approved by your school., A letter of recommendation or LinkedIn recommendation may be provided for strong performance.
