Summary: CGH Medical Center is expanding and seeking an Epic Application Analyst to provide primary support for Epic applications. The role involves coordinating issues, guiding workflow design, and ensuring the system meets organizational needs while maintaining communication with Epic representatives and end users. Responsibilities: - Act as the primary support contact for the application's end‐users - Identify issues that arise in your application area as well as issues that impact other application teams and work to resolve them - Guide workflow design, build and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic software - Identify and implement requested changes to the system - Serve as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staff - Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings - Work with Epic representatives, your organization's business community, and end users to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs in regards to the project deliverables and timeline - Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows by attending site visits and other integrated sessions - Participate in training and working with end users - Troubleshoot problems and questions - Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership - Hold weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end‐user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones - Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree preferred; or associate degree with experience; or direct applicable experience with current certification or ability to obtain certification in lieu of degree considered - Position will be expected to become certified in the application area within 3 months of Epic corporate training course Preferred Qualifications: - Epic Certified in Security and Data Courier Required Skills: Epic Application Support, Epic Security, Epic Data Courier, Epic Certification, Workflow Design, System Testing, End-User Training Benefits: Health and Dental Insurance, IMRF (Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund), Retirement Fund (457 and 401A Plan), Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending, Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability, Optional Insurances, Paid Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement and Loan Forgiveness, Gift Shop Discount, CGH Day Care Discount, CGH Dietary Discount, Employee Assistance Program, CGH Pharmacy Discount, CGH Vision Center Discount
