Job Description
Summary: CFS is seeking a Data Analyst who is passionate about turning data into meaningful insights that improve healthcare operations and outcomes. In this role, you’ll work closely with internal teams and leadership to analyze performance, improve processes, and support critical reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and validate data from multiple systems to support business decisions and reporting
- Identify data discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and determine root causes
- Prepare and submit reports to internal stakeholders, state agencies, and external partners
- Build and maintain reports, databases, and tools using Excel, Access, SQL, and VBA
- Improve workflows by identifying automation opportunities and streamlining manual processes
- Maintain SharePoint resources and ensure proper data documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and IT teams
- Support audits, reporting initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
- Train staff and promote adoption of improved systems and processes
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen - No sponsorship available
- Experience working with data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence tools
- Working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and exposure to SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to gather, validate, and interpret data across multiple systems
- Effective communication skills, including working with leadership
- Self-starter who is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access, SharePoint, or VBA/macros is a plus
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or related field
- Knowledge of state or government reporting requirements
- Familiarity with systems such as Credible (EHR) or Carisk
