Job Description
Summary: Centerstone is among the nation’s leading nonprofit behavioral health systems with thousands of employees dedicated to delivering care that changes people’s lives. The Program Evaluation Intern will support a variety of research, administrative, and project coordination tasks, working closely with evaluation team members on real-world projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with organizing, updating, and maintaining project and tracking documents
- Support project planning, implementation, and documentation activities
- Help maintain accurate records, files, and databases
- Provide general administrative or logistical support to the evaluation team
- Assist with data entry, data cleaning, and routine database maintenance
- Support timely submission of required data for internal and grant-funded projects
- Learn and use software tools such as Excel, REDCap, Access, or survey platforms
- Assist in analyzing aggregate client or program data under supervision
- Contribute to the preparation of internal or external reports
- Help summarize findings in clear, concise written or visual formats
- Present insights, observations, or completed work to team members when appropriate
- Design and complete a research project, create a dissemination product, and present findings to the team
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and project discussions
- Assist with writing tasks such as sections of grant reports or research summaries
- Contribute ideas to improve program processes, model fidelity, or participant engagement
- Participate in quality improvement activities or internal workgroups
- Provide general support and perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in social sciences, public health, psychology, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to meet internship hour requirements (typically 10–15 hours per week during daytime hours)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in research, customer service, data entry, or outreach preferred
