Summary: Center for Internet Security is committed to making the connected world a safer place, and they are seeking an IT Intern to support their IT department. The intern will provide customer service, troubleshoot technology issues, and assist with IT inventory and software configuration. Responsibilities: - Provide outstanding customer service to all end users - Ensure security best practices are central to decision making - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and technology issues - Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance - Categorize and track IT inventory stock - Load and configure all required software including office applications, e-mail, anti-virus, and internet programs - Perform other duties as required including lifting objects of up to 50 lbs - Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications: - Enrollment or study in Information Technology, or past experience support IT teams - Be familiar with common PC and Mac hardware and software packages - Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor - Must be authorized to work in the United States Required Skills: PC hardware, Mac hardware, PC software, Mac software, Professional demeanor
