Internship - Electrical Engineering at CEMS in Summerville, SC

Summary: CEMS Engineering, Inc. is seeking Electrical Engineering interns interested in building sciences. The role supports senior engineers with electrical design, prepares plans and specifications, reviews calculations and drawings, and performs other assigned duties.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers with routine design
- Prepare Electrical plans and specifications
- Review calculations and drawings
- Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program from an ABET accredited institution or equivalent plus appropriate continuing education
- Successfully completed coursework addressing Basic Circuits
- Must be able to coordinate with other engineering teams/disciplines within the firm
- Ability to work independently in a team environment and effectively manage time
- Must be able to work and effectively coordinate with staff in multiple office locations
- Effective time-management, written communication skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, decision making capabilities, problem resolution skills, and a sense of initiative are important for this internship
- Ability to work in a team environment is required
- Strong problem-solving skills required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) Registration
- Experience or working knowledge of AutoDesk Revit
