Summary: Cemex US is a leader in the building materials industry, known for innovation and operational excellence. This position is responsible for financial and management reporting, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes for assigned operations, supporting the Regional Operations Manager and Plant Managers in maintaining financial controls. Responsibilities: - Acts as primary accounting support to the South and Southwest Florida Aggregate operations - Works with vendors and the CEMEX procurement organization - Leads the spare part inventory count twice annually - Calculates finished and raw material inventory variances twice annually - Creates purchase orders and check requests for the environmental department, public relations, and limited other needs - Participates in the timely and accurate preparation and/or review of all significant financial information provided to Division, Region and Corporate management related to these sites. Duties include monthly closing, forecast updates, capital and operating budget preparation - Participates in operational benchmarking and other monthly performance analysis - Supports the Engineering department with project cost tracking, monthly reporting and creation of purchase requisitions Required Qualifications: - 1+ years of financial management experience; Industry experience helpful - Computer literate, in SAP and PC based applications.
