Job Overview 综述

The Raw Materials Planner/Coordinator is responsible for raw and packaging materials availability planning. This role will work closely with Inventory Planner, Master Production Planner, Production Schedulers, Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure materials are available for production to meet customer demands while optimizing inventory levels and costs. RM planner is focusing on long term plan, RM coordinator is focusing on short term execution.

Responsibilities 职责

1,Create and maintain a long-range RM supply plan at the business line / regional / monthly level, manage and optimize plan with procurement team based on demand2,Optimize RM plan decisions with most efficiently / profitably manner to meet demand over a 12 month horizon4,Plan and ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials for production to meet customer demand in short term5,Create purchase requisitions for raw / packaging materials, tolled / sub – contract materials and other consumables6,Coordinate with, master production planner, Regional Planner, and procurement to determine feasibility of spot buying alternate materials and raise purchase requisitions for spot buying7,Coordinate with MPS (Manufacturing focal point) to maintain alternate raw materials to reduce inventory discrepancy8,Coordinate with master production planner and procurement to mitigate any long/short-term shortages and improve vendor delivery performance9,Analyze forecasts, lead times, safety stock, inventory discrepancy and other material master data as needed for assigned raw and packaging materials10,Track and analyze Consumption patterns and purchasing trends to optimize inventory levels and costs associated11,Manage inventory issues / requirements generated due to schedule changes, cancellations, rush orders12,Tack KPIs and generate relevant reports. Examples: Inventory projection, obsolete material reports and inventory aging reports for Raw and packaging Materials

Qualifications 要求

• In depth experience and expertise with SAP system
• Rich knowledge of planning process, understand supply/ production/raw material planning, Especially be familiar with MRP.
• Knowledge of materials management.
• Good skills on Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; Power BI is preferred.
• Fluent on English & Japanese written and oral communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or above, Experience on 3~5 years on supply chain, planning, logistics, procurement.
• Teamwork player.
