Job Details

• Washes, dust, polishes, disinfects and vacuums furnishings, bath fixtures and standard room fixtures in resident rooms, corridors and other rooms in the area.

• Scours and polishes sink, tubs, mirrors and similar equipment, replenishing supplies of soap, towels, and other dispensable items.

• Terminally cleans resident room, bathroom, bed and furnishing for new resident arrivals

• Follows infection control policies to prevent cross contamination of resident rooms and furnishings.

• Clean Resident and public bathrooms in your area.

• Empty wastebasket and wipe or wash as necessary in all resident rooms and bathrooms.

• Clean interior windows when required.

• Washes and spot clean walls, baseboards, doors and floors.

• Assist with bed changes and room changes.

• Cleans wheelchairs, Geri chairs and other furniture as required.

• Answer pages.

• Be sent out of the facility when necessary.

• Performs Laundry duties as necessary.

• Performs other duties as required.
