Apply Description Overview: The Head Fencing Coach is responsible for leading and developing a competitive and educational high school fencing program. This includes coaching student-athletes in foil, épée, and/or sabre, fostering sportsmanship, and promoting skill development, teamwork, and personal growth. The coach will oversee all aspects of the program, including practices, competitions, and program administration. Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and lead practices and training sessions for student-athletes of varying skill levels Provide technical instruction in fencing techniques, tactics, and rules Develop and implement season plans, including conditioning, skill progression, and competition preparation Coach and supervise athletes during meets and championships Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful team culture Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and academic accountability among athletes Coordinate team logistics, including scheduling and equipment management Maintain and inventory fencing equipment; ensure proper safety protocols are followed Collaborate with school administration, athletic department staff, and parents Organize team meetings, events, and end-of-season recognition Salary Description $2,000-$4,000 stipend
