System Integrations Specialist (Entry Level) at Catalyst… · Houston
Job Description
About Us
Catalyst Financial is a fast-growing wealth management firm founded in 2022 with a clear mission: change the statistic.
Most Americans are not financially prepared for retirement. We exist to change that by serving the middle-class market with disciplined systems, strong leadership, and high-touch service.
Since launching in 2022, we have grown rapidly and are building the infrastructure to scale aggressively over the next several years. We are still early. That means opportunity.
This is a performance-driven firm where strong contributors gain responsibility quickly and directly impact the trajectory of the company.
Position Overview
We are hiring a System Integrations Specialist (Entry Level) to help build, manage, and improve our internal systems and automation infrastructure.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is analytical, tech-oriented, and eager to grow into a larger operations or systems leadership role over time.
You will help:
- Build and improve automations
- Connect systems across our tech stack
- Create and maintain internal reporting
- Improve operational efficiency across departments
This is not an IT help desk position.
This is a systems and automation growth role.
What You’ll Do
Systems & Automations
- Assist in building and maintaining workflows (Zapier, Make.com, API integrations)
- Support CRM, scheduling, onboarding, and advisor workflows
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend automation improvements
- Help manage integrations across Outlook, Azure, CRM platforms, Excel, Calendly, and other tools
Data & Reporting
- Pull and organize data from multiple systems
- Build and maintain internal reports
- Assist in dashboard creation
- Maintain data accuracy and structure
Infrastructure Support
- Document internal systems and workflows
- Support implementation of new tools
- Assist with cybersecurity and data best practices
Experience & Training
You do not need to know everything on day one.
We can teach tools.
We can teach systems.
We cannot teach mindset.
If you are highly capable, coachable, and motivated to grow, we will invest in your development.
Prior experience with automation tools, Excel, CRMs, or APIs is helpful — but not required if you demonstrate strong analytical ability and work ethic.
Who This Role Is For
You are:
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Naturally curious about how systems connect
- Analytical and comfortable with data
- Process-driven
- Self-motivated and accountable
- Hungry to grow within a fast-scaling company
Formal credentials matter less than demonstrated capability, problem-solving ability, and character.
Compensation & Growth
- $50,000 base salary
This is an entry-level role with significant upside.
As you take ownership of larger systems and deliver measurable improvements, compensation will scale accordingly. There is a clear path toward higher-level operations and technology leadership roles.
We want this person to grow with the firm long-term. We fully intend to increase compensation as impact increases.
Expectations
We are not looking for someone to simply maintain systems.
We are looking for someone who wants to learn how to architect and elevate them over time.
If you prefer rigid instructions over ownership and growth, this role is not a fit.
If you want to build foundational infrastructure inside a rapidly growing firm and develop into a high-level operator, this is a high-opportunity position.
