Wheat Ridge Chevrolet Cadillac is seeking a skilled, motivated, and General Motors (GM) Certified Automotive Technician to join our high-performing service team. Located right off the I-70 corridor, we run a busy shop with consistent, high-volume bay traffic to ensure you always have vehicles to turn. Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostics and repairs on Chevrolet and Cadillac cars, trucks, SUVs, and EVs.
- Utilize specialized GM diagnostic systems (Techline Connect, GDS2, and MDI) to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Execute factory recalls and warranty work in strict compliance with GM guidelines and documentation standards.
- Conduct multi-point safety inspections, clearly documenting findings and communicating recommended solutions to Service Advisors.
- Road-test customer vehicles to verify that repairs are completed safely and to factory specifications.
- Collaborate within a team-oriented shop to maintain a clean, organized, and highly efficient workflow.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active General Motors (GM) Certification is required.
- Professional automotive repair experience, preferably within a GM dealership environment.
- Must own a complete set of tools appropriate for a professional line technician.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
- B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
