Job Description
Summary: Castle Group is seeking a Property Management Intern to support the Property Manager with various administrative, financial, and operational tasks. The role involves learning internal operational procedures and providing outstanding customer service as a representative of Castle Royal Service.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and apply internal operational procedures related to Property Management
- Adheres to all safety precautions and procedures while performing duties
- Performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills as a representative of Castle Royal Service
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Property Manager
Required Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled at an accredited college/university and in good academic standing
- Must possess an unrestricted work authorization
- Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship (8 weeks)
- Intermediate command of computer hardware/software, specifically Microsoft Office Suite
- The position may require a valid Driver's License
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information using spoken and written communication
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Able to work under pressure, maintain composure and utilize good judgment during emergency/difficult and stressful situations
- Ability to lift 30lbs. following appropriate safety procedures
- Ability to walk and climb stairs
- Ability to handle, grasp, and feel objects and equipment
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Extensive use of fingers for typing and visual use of the computer monitor
- Ability to quickly and easily navigate property/buildings are required to meet the job functions
- Ability to repeat various motions with wrists, hands, and fingers
- Ability to detect auditory and visual emergency alarms
- Ability to hear, understand, and respond appropriately to verbal requests made in person and over the telephone
- Visual ability correctable to 20/20
- Ability to respond verbally in an understandable, professional manner in person and over the telephone
- Ability to stoop and bend
Preferred Qualifications:
- Projected graduation date of Fall/Winter of the internship year preferred
