Compensation: $22.00-25.00 (Bonus Potential Included)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)
Hours: 40 Full Time
Location: Corporate Office, located in Tigard, OR. Travel to properties as needed.

Summary:
The Sales & Leasing Professional is responsible for driving occupancy and revenue by effectively marketing available units, qualifying prospects, and converting leads into executed leases. The role balances customer service, sales acumen, regulatory compliance, and operational accuracy.
Essential Duties:
- Follow up on all prospective inquiries and questions via preferred contact (telephone, email, fax, etc.)
- Utilize waitlists of prospective applicants to begin the qualification process for the LIHTC and/or HUD programs.
- Responsible for assisting the lease up department with coordinating the initial steps of lease-up process.
- Successfully and promptly engage with prospective residents through email and phone calls, appointments, and follow-up communication, in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing regulation.
- Stay informed about current market and competitor conditions that may impact the community’s occupancy and sales results
- Be able to make quick connections with prospective residents over the phone and in person
- Assist residents with the application process as needed.*
- Understand rental agreement and residency policies and be able to explain them to residents.*
- Remove ineligible applicants from waitlists in accordance with Fair Housing regulations. *
- Ensure that prospect completes application and secures deposit in accordance with the company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.*
- Complete and submit timely, weekly reports; maintain neat and legible records at all times.*
- Assist with various outreach activities throughout Oregon and Washington. *
- Schedule and organize potential tenant meetings.*
- Manage effective communication through phone(s), email, and fax with applicants and other necessary contacts or lease-up purposes.*
- Manage calls and voicemails for up to 2 phone lines at once. *
- Maintain data entry and tracking information necessary for lease-up operations. *
- Create, mail and document Continued Interest Letters per waitlist Fair Housing standards. *
- Complete assigned tasks by the assigned deadlines and communicate any obstacles with your supervisor in advance.*
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Education
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and experience with email, fax, and a minimum of customer service;
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Valid Driver’s License and insurance is required. No industry specific certificates, licenses, or registrations required at the time of hire, however, must employee must complete LIHTC/HUD training courses within 3-months of hire date with a passing score.
Travel Requirements
Travel for projects when needed. May be up to 50% of the time, however this position’s home base would be the Corporate office. Must have reliable transportation.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Qualifications
Ability to operate basic office equipment such as telephones, computers, 10 key, photocopier, and fax machine. Must have strong attention to details. Must have ability to interact with a wide range of people, have excellent customer service, and "can do" attitude. Ability to remain organized, multi-task, and work well under pressure. Professional and polished image. Ability to work with multiple teams and varying skill sets.
