Account Executive, SPV at Carta in New York City, NY

Summary: Carta is a leading company that connects founders, investors, and limited partners through innovative software for venture capital and private equity. The Account Executive will focus on supporting prospective clients launching Special Purpose Vehicles and will manage the entire sales lifecycle to secure partnerships with Carta. Responsibilities: - Communicate the business impact of our product offerings to Special Purpose Vehicle managers - Demonstrate the ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building to identify and sell new opportunities - Understand customer needs and requirements and act as a trusted business advisor - Own the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close - Develop a comprehensive sales strategy and sales plan that ensures consistent achievement of goals over the short and long-term Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field - 1-3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in a Financial Technology or relevant SaaS organization - Proven ability to execute, especially negotiation and closing contracts - Intellectually curious, fast learner - Articulate, poised, and concise - Competitive and driven to achieve goals Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in venture capital, private equity, institutional investing, fund administration, or wealth management preferred Required Skills: Sales strategy development, Financial Technology experience, Negotiation skills Important Skills: Venture capital experience, SaaS experience Nice-to-Have Skills: Bachelor's degree, Intellectual curiosity, Articulate communication, Goal-driven Benefits: Equity for all full time roles, Exceptional benefits, Commissions plans
