The Health Safety Intern will assist in conducting safety audits, support incident investigations, and contribute to sustainability initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety. Responsibilities: - Assist in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments - Support incident investigations and help identify root causes and corrective actions - Help maintain and update safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical inventories - Participate in environmental monitoring activities (e.g., water, waste) - Assist in developing and delivering EHS training materials - Contribute to sustainability initiatives and waste reduction programs - Maintain EHS documentation and records in accordance with company policies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety Required Qualifications: - Must be currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, or any EH&S field - Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher - Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards - Experience with data analysis or reporting tools - Previous internship or coursework related to EHS topics Required Skills: Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, OSHA Important Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Data analysis tools
