Job Description

The Assembly Technician I will safely operate power tools, perform product assembly and testing, and maintain high standards of productivity and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate power tools to ensure precise assembly, prevent defects and minimize risk of injury
- Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing
- Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications
- Identify improvement areas and effectively communicate ways to implement change
- Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping
- High personal standards with regards to productivity, quality, and safety
- Willingness to learn multiple stations within the department
- Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing assembly
- 1+ years of experience reading blueprints, standard work instructions, bills of material, and precision measuring instruments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments
- Exceptional customer service skills and a great teamwork
- Solid mechanical background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
