Job Description
Summary: CARIAN is a purpose-driven, woman-owned consulting and advisory firm dedicated to the power sector. They are seeking a Technical Recruiter to support high-volume hiring across power utilities programs, focusing on proactive sourcing and candidate engagement for various technical roles.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively source, engage, and screen candidates for technical roles within the power and utilities sector
- Execute high-volume outbound outreach campaigns to build candidate pipelines for active and future roles
- Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and direct networking to identify and engage qualified candidates
- Identify and target talent from key industry firms, engineering consultancies, and contractors
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and align on candidate profiles
- Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously with a focus on speed and quality
- Build and maintain structured pipelines of passive candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill roles
- Track activity and pipeline metrics, including outreach volume, candidate conversations, and submissions
- Coordinate interviews and support candidates through the hiring process to offer acceptance
Required Qualifications:
- 1–5 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or sourcing experience
- Demonstrated ability to proactively source candidates and generate pipelines through outbound efforts
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence passive candidates
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with clear activity and output expectations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Experience recruiting for engineering, construction, utilities, or other technical roles
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
