Salesforce Developer Intern at CARFAX in Centreville, VA

Summary: CARFAX is a company focused on helping consumers make informed decisions through accurate vehicle history information. They are seeking a Salesforce Developer Intern to work alongside experienced developers, building custom solutions and gaining hands-on experience with Salesforce development tools and technologies. Responsibilities: - Active development on our Agent facing applications built on the Salesforce platform using both programmatic and declarative toolset - Participate in design, architectural reviews, code reviews, and unit tests - Review business requirements/ functional specifications requirements - Work with QA team in analyzing and resolving production issues and defects - Work with Team on developing integrations - Participate in the full SDLC including meetings and design sessions - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels - Work effectively within a collaborative team to identify and resolve issues Required Qualifications: - Working towards a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles - Familiarity with web development languages, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Passion for learning and working with Salesforce technologies - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience with Salesforce development, administration, or configuration - Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and/or Lightning Web Components - Familiarity with ETL Concepts - Familiarity with AWS Glue - Salesforce Administrator certification or other relevant certifications - Knowledge of Salesforce reporting and dashboard development - Experience with version control tools, such as Git Required Skills: Salesforce development, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Object-oriented programming, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ETL concepts, AWS Glue, Salesforce Administrator certification, Salesforce reporting, dashboard development, Version control tools
