Business Analytics Summer Intern

Join our Business Analytics Team this summer to help us optimize our Go-to-Market (GTM) engine. You’ll work at the intersection of Sales, Data Science, and Business Intelligence, all while enjoying our four-day work week during Summer 2026!

What You'll Do:
- GTM Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate our Go-to-Market reporting and analytics to move from manual tracking to real-time insights.
- Sales Intelligence: Analyze sales performance data to identify specific opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Executive Presentation: Package your findings into compelling narratives and present them directly to senior sales leaders.
- BI Partnership: Collaborate closely with our Business Intelligence function to activate data and build scalable, long-term reporting solutions.
- AI Innovation: Research and identify high-impact opportunities for CARFAX to integrate AI more heavily into our existing analytical workflows.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is Highly Inquisitive: You don’t just report the numbers; you dig into the "how" and "why" to find the untapped business value.
- Is Detail-Oriented: You take pride in data integrity and ensure your reporting is accurate, reliable, and "board-room ready".
- Possesses Strong Analytical Skills: You are comfortable navigating complex business datasets and identifying actionable trends.
- Is a Strong Communicator: You can explain complex technical concepts to sales and business leaders in a way that is clear and persuasive.
- Is an Excel and PowerPoint Pro: You are proficient in data manipulation (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Power Query) and can build professional, story-driven presentations.
- Is Academic-Focused: Currently studying Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SQL or Python for data extraction and automation.
- Exposure to CRM platforms (like Salesforce) or BI tools (like Tableau/Power BI).
- An interest in the latest Generative AI tools and their application in business data.
