Summary: Career Launch Tech Initiative (CLTI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved individuals with technology and resources for career development. They are seeking a detail-oriented Recruiting Intern to manage the full recruiting cycle, from posting job listings to onboarding new interns, while gaining hands-on experience in talent acquisition and people management.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the coordination and execution of AI-assisted recruitment strategies at scale
- Sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks via data-driven approach
- Operating AI screening agents to automate evaluation, interpreting quantitative and behavioral assessments
- Scheduling interviews and maintaining clear communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Supporting the creation and posting of job descriptions, applying analytical insights to optimize fit
- Maintaining and updating applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases for pipeline analysis
- Participating in team meetings, providing data-informed progress updates, and collaborating on initiatives
- Assisting in employer branding efforts, including outreach messages and materials for prospective candidates
- Proposing quantitative observations or special projects applying academic knowledge to strengthen recruiting
- Preparing reports and summaries on recruitment metrics, candidate pipelines, and AI tool performance
Required Qualifications:

- Strong written communication skills- you can write clearly, professionally, and with care
- Organized and detail-oriented- you keep records accurate and pipelines up to date without being reminded
- Self-motivated and proactive- you take initiative and go beyond what is asked
- Comfortable making judgment calls about people and communicating decisions with empathy
- Communicates openly- if something comes up, you say so instead of going silent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in recruiting, HR, customer service, or people-facing roles is a plus but not required
- Students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply
