They are seeking motivated and enthusiastic CLIA Lab interns to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge diagnostic company, contributing to meaningful projects that impact patient care. Responsibilities: - Support the development and validation of new diagnostic assays - Collaborate with team members on research and development projects - Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols - Assist in the pre-analytical phase, including sample receiving, unpackaging, accessioning, labeling, and nucleic acid extraction - Observe and support analytical workflows such as PCR, qPCR, and NGS library preparation under supervision - Help prepare reagents and maintain laboratory inventory - Participate in quality control and quality assurance procedures following CLIA guidelines - Aid in documentation, data entry, and review of laboratory logs and records - Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with lab protocols - Complete a final report or presentation summarizing skills learned and contributions to the lab - Assist with continuous improvement and data analytics projects Required Qualifications: - Must be 17 years old or older - Demonstrated academic or work experience [biology, biotechnology,] or a related field - Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and procedures - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology, biotechnology or related field.
