CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for a Part Time Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, including vital signs, medical history, consent, and patient education.
• Evaluate and triage patients, including walk-ins requiring urgent cardiac assessment.
• Assist with and perform cardiac diagnostic testing, including EKGs, cardiac telemetry monitoring, blood work, and other testing as appropriate.
• Monitor patients during evaluation and treatment and respond appropriately to emergent situations.
• Administer medications and IVs as ordered and within scope of practice.
• Interpret EKG rhythms and recognize cardiac arrhythmias.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Communicate test results and next steps per provider direction.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Assist with clinical coordination, including triaging patient calls and responding to clinical inquiries.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to facilitate efficient patient care.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BSN required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years cardiology or emergency department experience.
• Strong cardiac assessment and triage skills.
• Ability to recognize and respond to urgent cardiac conditions.
• Excellent multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Experience in an outpatient cardiology, urgent care, emergency department, or similar fast-paced clinical setting preferred.
