Job Description
Summary: Cardinal Point Capital Management ULC is a cross-border wealth management firm dedicated to helping affluent individuals and families navigate financial complexities. The Client Relationship Specialist will support clients and custodial partners by ensuring smooth onboarding and providing exceptional day-to-day service.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong client relationships and provide responsive, courteous support via phone, email, text, and client portals
- Manage account documentation, onboarding tasks, and related data gathering for multiple U.S. and Canadian custodians
- Handle cashiering and transactional requests including transfers, wires, EFTs, and checks
- Answer inquiries from clients and internal team members in a timely and professional manner
- Train clients on how to use portals, systems, and other digital tools
- Maintain and adhere to client-related compliance policies and procedures that support investment strategies
- Coordinate the collection of tax-related documents to support client filings
- Serve as the primary liaison with custodians to resolve account and transactional issues
- Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency with custodial partners
- Participate in strategic projects and committees that support firm-wide initiatives and operational growth
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Acute attention to detail and strong organizational/time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relationship-building skills and comfort partnering with clients, custodians, and internal teams
- A solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with NetRep, Dataphile, and NetX360 is advantageous
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is considered an asset
- A collaborative and humble approach that aligns with our culture of integrity and diligence
Preferred Qualifications:
- An interest or background in athletics—especially hockey
