Job Description
Summary: Capitol Federal Savings Bank is committed to helping individuals, families, and communities achieve financial success. As a Network Intern, you will gain valuable experience in network management and support, assisting in troubleshooting network issues and ensuring network security.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software
- Support the troubleshooting and resolution of network-related issues
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Participate in network security measures and protocols
- Document network configurations, issues, and solutions
- Assist with the setup of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Collaborate with the Tech Services team to support day-to-day network operations
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies
