Founding Operations Lead at CapitalMD

Location: New York City, NY · Visa sponsorship: no

CapitalMD is building the marketplace for physician expertise. We help elite physicians turn their expertise and authority into meaningful income beyond clinical practice, while helping innovative healthcare companies access the trusted medical voices they need to grow. CapitalMD is a portfolio company of Artisan Ventures.

• Want to work at an early stage startup where you have real ownership and impact?

• Fascinated by the innovation happening across healthcare?

• Do you want to work with and learn from serial entrepreneurs with multiple exits whose goal is to support you on your own entrepreneurial path?

If you answered yes to all of these, then join us at CapitalMD as our Founding Operations Lead.

What is Your Role?

CapitalMD helps elite physicians turn their expertise into influence, opportunities, and meaningful income beyond clinical practice. As Founding Content Lead, you’ll own the physician experience - from onboarding to deal close.

You will:

• Own Physician Relationships: Be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of elite physicians. Know their expertise, goals, interests, and preferences — and make every physician feel known, supported, and professionally managed.

• Drive Opportunities: Help turn physician expertise and content into real opportunities. Manage the pipeline, coordinate introductions and engagements, and keep opportunities moving from initial interest through execution.

• Build CapitalMD: We’re early. Help build the systems, playbooks, AI workflows, and new ideas that allow us to serve hundreds and eventually thousands of physicians. This is an entrepreneurial role - we want your authorship in what CapitalMD becomes.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an exceptional entrepreneurial content operator early in their career.

• 2–4 years of experience, ideally across content, startups, agencies, healthcare, marketplaces, creator/talent, or other fast-moving environments.

• Great with people. You build trust quickly and can confidently manage relationships with accomplished physicians and business leaders.

• Highly organized and action-oriented. You can manage lots of moving pieces, follow through relentlessly, and make things happen.

• Entrepreneurial and AI-native. You love blank canvases, move quickly, use modern tools to create leverage, and want to help build a company from the ground up.

• Low ego, high ownership. No task is beneath you, and you care more about the outcome than who gets credit.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary with bonus and equity

• 100% Medical, Dental, and Vision personal coverage

• 401(K) with Match

• Regular team events and offsites

• PTO

This is an in-person role at our Flatiron, NY office.
