Description
Capital Technology Group (CTG) is thrilled to welcome one ambitious undergraduate or graduate student for our Summer 2026 Business Development Internship. If you are excited by strategy, relationship building, and helping drive growth in the federal contracting space, this is your chance to gain hands-on experience while learning from experienced business development and capture professionals.
This internship is hybrid in Silver Spring, Maryland. The program is full time at 40 hours per week and runs for 8 weeks from June 22 through August 14.
As a Business Development Intern, you’ll support real growth initiatives that directly contribute to CTG’s federal business pipeline. You’ll work closely with our Growth, Capture, and Proposal teams to help identify and qualify new opportunities, conduct market and agency research, support capture activities, track procurement trends, and contribute to proposal and business development efforts. You’ll gain exposure to the full federal BD lifecycle, from early market shaping and relationship development through opportunity pursuit and proposal support.
You’ll collaborate with a small, fast-moving team, receive mentorship from experienced leaders, and gain firsthand insight into how federal government contractors win and grow business across civilian and defense agencies. Your work will be meaningful, your contributions visible, and your learning immediate.
