Job Description: Transport / Logistics Planner (Grade A4)
Role Summary
We are looking for a Transport / Logistics Planner to support transportation planning, execution, and coordination activities. The role involves managing shipment schedules, optimizing routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and collaborating with carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily transportation activities (inbound/outbound shipments)
• Optimize routes, loads, and carrier utilization to ensure cost efficiency
• Create and maintain shipments in TMS (e.g., OTM, SAP TM)
• Monitor shipment execution and track deliveries
• Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and suppliers
• Handle transportation exceptions (delays, capacity issues)
• Support freight cost validation and invoice accuracy
• Prepare transport performance reports and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• 3-5 years of logistics/transport planning experience
• Experience with SAP, OTM, Power BI or other TMS tools
• Experience in all modes of transport (Air, Ocean and Road) & Warehousing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Good communication and coordination skills
