The Role
We are seeking a CIAM Engineer with deep Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) expertise to support the delivery of large-scale digital identity transformation initiatives. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and enhancing customer identity solutions, helping clients deliver secure, scalable, and seamless digital experiences.
This role combines hands-on engineering, solution implementation, technical consulting, and stakeholder collaboration within complex transformation programmes across financial services.
What You'll Do
Design, configure, and implement CIAM solutions across enterprise-scale environments
Build and integrate customer authentication, authorization, and identity verification capabilities including MFA, step-up authentication, and ID proofing
Collaborate with architects, security teams, product owners, and client stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable identity solutions
Support the integration of CIAM platforms with applications, APIs, fraud prevention tools, and customer-facing digital channels
Contribute to CIAM capability assessments, technical roadmaps, and continuous improvement initiatives across identity ecosystems
What We're Looking For
8+ years of experience delivering Customer Identity and Access Management solutions within complex enterprise environments
Strong hands-on expertise with leading CIAM platforms such as Ping Identity, Okta, ForgeRock, or similar technologies
Experience implementing authentication, authorization, identity verification, and customer onboarding capabilities
Understanding of identity standards and protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and SCIM
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions
Bonus Points For
Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated industries
Knowledge of fraud prevention, behavioural analytics, device intelligence, and digital trust platforms
Experience supporting cloud-native identity transformation initiatives across AWS, Azure, or GCP
Familiarity with identity graph, identity fabric, and customer identity orchestration technologies
Consulting or client-facing delivery experience within large transformation programmes

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is listed below. Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.
